Bookings and Rates:
Bookings can be made over the phone, via text message or via email.
Base rates are offered as a guide and are subject to change with job specifications. Bookings are taken in full and half day blocks. A half-day is a 1-4 hour block; a full- day is anything between 5-10 hours. Productions that exceed the 10-hour block will be billed at an overtime rate specified on the agreed estimate. A half-day booking will become a full day booking when production reaches the 6th hour from the call time. Productions must adhere to the booked times as multiple bookings may be made for any one day.
Productions that finish before the scheduled times will be billed as originally quoted. A hold can be made at any time and must be noted as a quote hold, a light hold or a confirmed job hold. It is the sole responsibility of the production/producer to CONFIRM, CANCEL or RENEGOTIATE holds via phone, text message or email. Holds will be taken as confirmed if no contact has been made 48 hours prior to the date, failure to confirm, cancel or renegotiate will incur a cancellation fee dependent on the time frame (see Cancellations section).
When a job is confirmed an email will be sent from the contractor outlining the details of the job known at the time. If details change, production should notify the contractor ASAP.
If an enquiry is made for a date that is already on a hold the production with the first hold has 24 hours to confirm, cancel or renegotiate. The same rule applies for all weather holds. Weather holds should be confirmed or cancelled as close to 24 hours prior to the date as possible.
If production requires SCOUTING of locations, rates are charged at 1⁄2 quoted full and half-day rates, dependent on hours required.

Cancellation:
Within 48 hours of scheduled date – 25% of original estimate Within 24 hours of scheduled date – 75% of original estimate Within 12 hours of scheduled date – 100% of original estimate

Travel and Mileage:
Quoted rates include a transport allowance of up to 50kms a day within a 25km radius of Sydney Metro, specifically Central Station. When travel within the radius exceeds 50kms a mileage charge of $1.00/km is charged. When travelling outside of the 25km radius a standard rate of $1.00/km will be charged from the outset of the journey. Tolls and parking fees will be charged to the production when the final invoice is submitted unless stated otherwise.
When travel to a location requires a TRAVEL DAY, rates will be quoted at a 1⁄2 quoted rate.
Per diems must adequately cover meals, telecommunication & weekly laundry, with respect to schedule & destination. Alternate arrangements welcomed. Travel & rest days should include zero filming unless discussed otherwise.

Equipment:
Quoted rates include the use of all current equipment owned by the contractor. A list can be made available upon request. Any additional equipment required will be acquired through a third party rental house. The contractor can put equipment rental lists together once a brief is provided by production.
Specific equipment requests from production will be adhered to as closely as possible. Where requested equipment is unavailable the next suitable replacement

will be sourced. Where the contractor is required to pick-up and return any production sourced equipment a 15% handlers rental fee will be added to the final invoice.

Payment:
Payment terms are strictly 15 days unless stated otherwise. Late payments can incur additional fees and will be charged at 10% pre month. Failure to pay within 90 days of the invoice date may result in legal action.
Receipts for expenses incurred during production will be kept and added to invoices before being sent.
When a job is confirmed and an estimate accepted a 50% deposit is required unless stated otherwise. If a production exceeds the quoted amount the invoice will be adjusted to reflect any additional costs.

Data Transfer and File Delivery:
All hard drives and storage devices should be provided by the production unless stated otherwise. Where any storage device is requested by production the cost will be reflected in the final invoice. Footage captured on the day will be personally backed up by the contractor and held for 6 months before being removed. It is the responsibility of the production to ensure the data is properly backed up before production finishes. It is highly recommended that two hard drives or storage devices are brought to set and footage is transferred to both before confirming it is backed up. In the case of two hard drives it is recommended to transfer from card to hard drive and never hard drive to hard drive.
